What is your favorite color and why?
Blue, because every shade is beautiful

What is your favorite piece of furniture in your classroom?
Sensory table – this is where the students have an opportunity to grow in a very hands-on learning environment.

How would you describe your teaching style?
With patience and love of all abilities. My background in Special Education gives me the understanding to provide the best learning environment for each individual child.

When did you know you wanted to become a teacher?
During my time as a job coach for children with disabilities in college. I provided students with the skills to become more independent in their field of interest.

What is your favorite lesson/unit to teach?
Color recognition

What is your greatest challenge in teaching?
The age. The attention span of a young child limits the amount of time they can sit and listen.

If you could have a career other than a teacher, what would it be?
Something working with individuals with disabilities

The joy in learning and how having a loving teacher can impact growth.
